Celebration of Roxbury Legends

Reclaim Roxbury is a community organization dedicated to improving quality of life and economic wealth for Roxbury residents, preventing displacement, and supporting economic development. We work to ensure Roxbury residents are involved in the democratic process for new developments and have a say in community planning. We achieve this through education and advocacy in order to build a more prosperous and resilient Roxbury.

The Celebration of Roxbury Legends honors Greg Janey with the 2026 Roxbury Legend Award for representing the talent of Roxbury-raised pioneers, for his leadership of Janey Construction Management and for his transformative role ensuring Boston's physical growth creates local economic power.

Join us as we celebrate the continued revitalization of Nubian Square as an economic, social, and creative hub that amplifies these values, as we announce the arrival of several projects and initiatives to a wider community, and continue the mission of connecting Roxbury locals with institutions that grow the neighborhood together.
